Wentworth to Broken Hill Pipeline
Michael led the design of the approximately $500 million Wentworth to Broken Hill Pipeline as the Client’s Design Manager and Technical Interface Lead. His role extended from concept selection and technical development through procurement, detailed design, construction, commissioning and project completion.

BlueScope Steel, Port Kembla
Michael has worked across the Port Kembla Steelworks, from coke making through iron and steelmaking to flat products. His experience includes leading engineering teams on major shutdowns and holding lead roles. Capital projects include the Ore Preparation Upgrade, Plate Mill Furnace project and No. 5 Blast Furnace reline.

BMA Saraji Mine CPP Remedial Works
Michael developed the mechanical and structural scope for a significant upgrade of the existing Saraji Coal Preparation Plant. His work covered coal slurry and magnetite pumping, pipework and processing and recovery systems, plant and structures, lifting equipment, structural modification, construction planning, scheduling and cost estimating.

Warragamba Deep Water Access Pump Station
Michael led the investigation and commissioning of the 10MW Warragamba Deep Water Access Pump Station as part of Sydney's drought response. He worked with WaterNSW and Sydney Water to return the asset to operational readiness and integrate the pump station and pipeline into Sydney's water supply system.
